The mission of Vail Health’s Food and Nutrition department is to improve patients’ lives through quality nutritional care and expert education. We provide our in-patients with wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals that enhance their treatment and recovery. In addition, our goal is to educate patients on nutrition and health to help them make good decisions and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Servicios

Vail Health Hospital features At Your Request-Room Service Dining®, a complimentary meal and delivery service for patients. Food can be ordered any time between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and will be delivered within 45 minutes directly to the patient’s room. A full menu is available in each in-patient room, and special meals are prepared for those with restricted diets. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) are available for questions or counseling regarding patients’ dietary needs. To learn more, call (970) 479-5058.

Remedies Café is located on the lower level of the hospital and provides delicious home-style meals, including daily specials, homemade soups, a grill menu and a salad bar. Guests can also choose from snacks and a “Simply To Go” cooler with a selection of salads, sandwiches and cold treats. In addition, vending machines are located in the Cafe’, accessible 24 hours/day.
