Vail Valley Medical Center’s marketing team brought five awards home to Vail from the 2012 Gold Leaf Award ceremony on October 18th in Denver. In their first year entering the competition the team consisting of director of marketing Michael Holton communications and publications manager Lindsay Warner online marketing manager Emily Tamberino special events manager Christine Albertson videographer\/photographer Kevin Heinz and physician liaison Byron Morris were “pleasantly surprised and gratified” by the recognition of their work over the last year.<\/p>\n\n\n
Says Holton “We are especially proud of the breadth of projects that were awarded including our new printed annual report Vail Health Magazine a multimedia advertising campaign for Shaw Regional Cancer Center and Pink Vail. These projects were designed to raise awareness and support for health and wellness in the Vail Valley. We’re thrilled that they were recognized among such notable institutions as Children’s Hospital Kaiser Permanente and the Colorado Health Foundation.”<\/p>\n\n\n
More than 50 awards were given to healthcare communication and marketing professionals throughout Colorado. Categories included advertising collateral annual reports media relations new media and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Gold Leaf Awards are presented annually by Colorado Healthcare Communicators (CHC). CHC is the only Colorado organization that exclusively honors health care marketing strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n
