About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Responsible for the “direct” procurement activities for Vail Health and Surgery Center Supply Chain.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Orders and expedites stock and non-stock supplies\/services\/equipment.<\/li>\n
  2. Assures contracts\/pricing are correct from time of order to invoice.<\/li>\n
  3. Assist in item file\/Vendor Maintenance.<\/li>\n
  4. Checks Departmental requisitions for accuracy before ordering.<\/li>\n
  5. Helps direct related inventory management functions. Member of Materials Admin On-Call team and will be responsible for filling in for non-productive coverage in a cross-trained environment.<\/li>\n
  6. Trouble shoots fall outs and non-typical issues related to procurement.<\/li>\n
  7. High degree of windows sub systems (excel, word, e-mail) and specialty MMIS software.<\/li>\n
  8. Directs\/coordinates communication with ordering departments.<\/li>\n
  9. Works with Finance on invoicing discrepancies.<\/li>\n
  10. Suggests improvements in Supply Chain methods and process.<\/li>\n
  11. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.<\/li>\n
  12. Must be HIPAA compliant<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
