Learn more about Vail Health <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vailhealth.org\/about\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<div><strong>About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Provides speech therapy services to patients to include assessment and treatment, development and implementation of program, and related professional in-services. Promotes services of the organization in order to meet business need of both the greater organization and individual clinics.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate patients utilizing appropriate test and measures to determine the speech therapy problem\/level of function and recommended treatment\/discharge plan.<\/li>\n<li>Has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patent care protocol relations to the physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs for all applicable patients.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes speech therapy interventions based on the evaluation and examination, physician orders and patient\u2019s goals for therapy.<\/li>\n<li>Competently and safely perform appropriate speech therapy techniques and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Documents findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames. Submits all patient billing at the end of each day.<\/li>\n<li>Instructs patients\/family members on home programs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates smooth referral process across the organization for speech therapy needs.<\/li>\n<li>Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.<\/li>\n<li>Must be HIPAA compliant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>This description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and efforts or work conditions associated with the job.
