Learn more about Vail Health <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vailhealth.org\/about\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Performs diagnostic examinations, ensures image quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and patient and physician satisfaction.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Performs all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health Protocols.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Assists Radiologist with all fluoroscopic procedures.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Operates large C-arm and O-arm under the direction of the surgeon.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Identifies each patient and reviews exam order for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Reviews consistency of all demographic information including physician\u2019s name and signature, patient\u2019s name, and date.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Maintains constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of health care team to contribute to continuity of care.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Maintains working knowledge and use of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure quality patient documentation.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Monitor supply inventory and notify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div><strong>This description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and efforts or work conditions associated with the job.
