Learn more about Vail Health <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vailhealth.org\/about\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Performs diagnostic CT and radiographic examinations, ensures image quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and patient and physician satisfaction.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><em><strong>This position is PRN or as needed.\u00a0 Eligible for 16% PRN Shift differential.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Performs all CT examinations according to Vail Health protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Performs all Radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Review each examination for technical accuracy, send completed examinations to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory of supplies and orders when stock is low. Keeps the exam room stocked and neat.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies each patient and reviews exam order for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis. Reviews consistency of all demographic information including physician\u2019s name and signature, patient\u2019s name, and date.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of health care team to contribute to continuity of care.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains working knowledge and use of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure quality patient documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.
