Denise was born and raised in Portland, OR. She began rowing in high school, and continued during her undergrad education at Tufts University and the University of Oxford. After spending a few years balancing rowing coaching and a variety of secondary jobs she went to the University of Colorado for her DPT.  She loves her work in the acute care setting, and has a passion for partnering with patients who have oncology-related diagnoses. Outside of the hospital, Denise loves spending time with her husband and two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
