Originally from New Orleans Louisiana, Alyssa received her undergraduate in kinesiology from the University of Michigan where she also ran track. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2013. In 2015 she joined the team at Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine located in the heart of Tulane University. While there, Alyssa gained extensive experience working closely with sports medicine surgeons and treating post-operative knees, shoulders, and elbows. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
