Shannon is a Colorado native who grew up in the front range area near Golden. She participated in many competitive sports such as soccer, gymnastics, and swimming when she was younger and fell in love with the physical therapy profession in high school. She then moved to Flagstaff, Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University where she completed her degree in Exercise Science and found a new passion for ultimate frisbee. She returned to the Denver area where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University while simultaneously coaching high school girls swimming at Holy Family High School in Broomfield, CO. Shannon values caring for the whole person, actively listening to her patients and addressing their concerns, integrating interventions individualized to each patient, holding herself and her patients accountable for a successful recovery, and making each visit a fun experience.
